Mylands has been producing quality wood finishing
products since 1884. Mylands reputation as a leading supplier to furniture makers,

Mylands Wax |
 |
|
| Mylands waxes were originally formulated over 100 years ago for antique
furniture conservators and restorers. Its unique formulation combines the finest natural
waxes available including beeswax, carnauba and shellac wax in a toluene-free carrier.
Mylands wax can be used on all interior wood surfaces over virtually any finish. Mylands
wax is easy to apply and results in a shine that is lasting and lustrous. When pigmented,
Myland wax enhances the color of the selected original wood and secures the glow of its
natural patina while diminishing surface abrasions and scratches. |

| |
| MYLANDS CLEAR WAX |
| Clear Wax is suitable for all wooden furniture, whatever the color, and results in a deep shine. Additional applications provide increased durability and added depth. |
| MYLANDS ANTIQUE PINE WAX |
| A traditional light brown wax with hints of honey-orange that adds tone and depth to all lighter colored woods, in addition to pine. Very popular with traditional conservators and restorers, Mylands Antique Pine Wax is recommended by many furniture teaching colleges. |
| MYLANDS ANTIQUE BROWN WAX |
| A warm, honey brown wax particularly suitable for oak, walnut and all darker woods. Produces a rich, deep shine that complements and enhances the finish and patina. |
| MYLANDS ANTIQUE MAHOGANY WAX |
| Similar to Mylands Antique Brown Wax, but with a hint of red that results in warmer, richer tones. Favored by antique furniture conservators and restorers for use on cherry as well as on mahogany surfaces. |

Application |
 |
|
| Apply Mylands wax with a soft, clean cloth, brush or 0000 grade steel wool. Apply sparingly, just enough to cover with a thin coat, allow to dry (normally 5-7 minutes) and buff off with another clean, soft cloth. In the case of detailed or carved surfaces, the wax may be buffed off using a furniture brush. Additional applications of Mylands Wax will provide increased shine and protection. Note: many professionals use Mylands Clear Wax as the final coat over applications of Mylands colored waxes. This technique essentially seals the finish without adding further color to the wood and contributes to added lustre. |

| |
| MYLANDS LIMING WAX |
| Formulated with the highest quality ingredients, this specialty wax results in a striking limed finish on open grained woods such as oak, ash or hickory. Apply by cloth, brush or 0000 grade steel wool, working the wax well into the grain of the wood. Let dry and buff. |

MYLANDS GILDING WAX |
 |
|
| Mylands Gilding Wax is a blend of waxes and precious metals that can be used on new wood
picture frames as well as antique frames to achieve a gilded effect. Unlike gilding paints
which are subject to running and uneven application, Mylands Gilding Wax is easily applied
by brush, cloth or fingertip. Allow to dry, and then either leave matt or buff to a soft
shine. When applied over painted surfaces, particularly mouldings and carved areas, truly
stunning decorative effects can be achieved. Mylands Gilding Wax (30mls) is available in
seven colors: Bronze, Champagne, Copper, Silver, Rich Gold, Pale Gold and Light Gold. |

MYLANDS COLOUR WAX |
 |
|
| Mylands Colour Wax is a pigmented natural beeswax designed for use on either painted or unpainted wood surfaces and furniture. Colour wax is easy to apply and will result in a subtle, soft satin sheen. Apply colour wax with a lint free cloth or fine steel wool. Buff with a clean cloth after a few minutes for a porous surface or after up to 15 minutes for a non-porous surface. Use Mylands clear wax for subsequent maintenance. Mylands Colour Wax is available in eight shades: Light Green, Mid Green, Deep Red, Warm Yellow, Yellow Ochre, Vibrant Blue, Raw Umber and Black. |
