Mylands, Britain’s oldest family owned and run paint and polishes manufacturer, presents key colour selections and seasonal colour inspiration for Spring/Summer 2015.

Strike a Statement

Strong, vibrant colours remain popular but this season they have an urban twist. Tethered brights offset by neutral or dark tones create added depth and interest. Use deep, bold colours to ground the scheme whilst making bright tones pop and come alive.

Try Brights

Mortlake Red No.290, London Plane No.200, Pimlico No.136.

Try Darks

No. 237

Maritime No.236, Eaton Square No.232, Oratory No.237, London Brown No.287.

Colourful Cool

Clean crisp colours create a fresh and uplifting palette with tints rather than blocks of colour setting the tone.

Blue, green and lilac dominate this look with clear, neutral tones - each light, airy and ethereal in feel. Accessorise with pearlised or iridescent effects and glass accents for an enhanced, almost heavenly scheme.

Mylands has been a pioneer of paint for 130 years but their colours remain as relevant today as they always were. Inspired by London, home to Mylands since its beginnings, some colours are historically rooted and others are contemporary classics. Richly pigmented with sumptuous depth, their colours have featured in some of the world’s most successful film and television productions including James Bond, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Cinderella and Mr Selfridge.
